Help with the iPhone app, accounts and privacy

Signing in

Make sure you are using the same sign-in method and account you used when first creating your Closetelle wardrobe. If a social sign-in window closes unexpectedly, check your internet connection and try again. Closetelle support will never ask for your password or verification code.

Adding clothing

You can add a piece from the camera, your photo library or the image-only “Add to Closetelle” share extension. Version 1 does not import retailer links. For the cleanest result, use a well-lit photo with one garment against a simple background and review suggested details before saving.

Cloud copy

Cloud copy is enabled by default and keeps account-linked wardrobe metadata, garment images, outfits and saved looks on Closetelle’s backend. You can stop future uploads under Settings → Privacy & AI → Keep a cloud copy. Your on-device wardrobe remains available. Turning cloud copy off does not delete data already uploaded.

Optional intelligent features

Garment recognition, Stylist and Twin features require permission for Google Gemini processing. You can change this under Settings → Privacy & AI. Generated previews are inspiration only and may not match exact fit, size, color or fabric.

Delete your account

Open Closetelle and go to Settings → Account data → Delete Account. After confirmation, Closetelle removes the account’s cloud records and stored images, local wardrobe and Twin data, and the Closetelle authentication account. This action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app, email support@closetelle.com from the email associated with your account and ask for account deletion. We may request reasonable verification before acting.
