The rules for using Closetelle
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ASATWO PTY LTD (“ASATWO”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and apply to your use of the Closetelle mobile application, website and related services (together, “Closetelle”). By creating an account or using Closetelle, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 to use Closetelle and must have a parent or guardian’s permission where local law requires a higher age for independent consent. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the law provides otherwise.
2. Licence to use Closetelle
Subject to these Terms, ASATWO grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Closetelle for lawful personal purposes. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from Closetelle except where applicable law expressly permits it.
If you download Closetelle from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these Terms conflict with mandatory consumer law, that law prevails.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, text and other content you provide. You give ASATWO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, transform and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the features you request, including through the service providers identified in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, subject to limited backup, security and legal retention.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content and that our use of it as described will not violate another person’s rights. Do not upload confidential content you are not authorised to share.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Closetelle for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing or exploitative purposes;
- upload content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- submit sexual content involving minors or content that facilitates harm;
- probe, disrupt, overload or circumvent security, authentication, quotas or access controls;
- use automated means to scrape or access Closetelle without our written permission; or
- misrepresent generated content as evidence of real-world fit, performance or endorsement.
5. Intelligent features and output
Some optional features use Google Gemini to analyze content or generate output after you opt in. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive or unsuitable, and similar output may be generated for other users. Closetelle is not a substitute for professional advice and does not guarantee that a suggested outfit, color, size, material or visual result will be appropriate.
You are responsible for reviewing output before using or sharing it. Do not rely on generated output for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other high-impact decisions.
6. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Closetelle available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, security or events outside our control. We may modify, add or remove features, limits and supported devices. We will provide reasonable notice where a material change requires it.
7. Purchases, subscriptions and included usage
Eligible iOS purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase and are also subject to Apple’s payment, cancellation, renewal and refund rules. The price, billing period, included limit and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm a purchase.
- Closetelle Premium is available as an auto-renewable weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, increases the wardrobe limit from 5 to 1,000 pieces, and includes Twin and Stylist use. Any introductory trial, billing plan, price and included usage window are shown before purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- If Premium ends while you have more than 5 pieces, existing pieces remain readable, editable, exportable and deletable. Adding more pieces is paused until the wardrobe is below the free limit or Premium is active again.
- Twin and Stylist allowances reset on the weekly or monthly window shown in the app. Only a usable completed result counts; failed results restore the allowance. Separate safety limits may temporarily pause unusually high or abusive activity.
- A referral qualifies only after an invited person applies the inviter's code and completes a five-piece wardrobe setup. After two qualifying referrals, an eligible free member receives 30 Premium days; an active subscriber receives a 30-day allowance boost. The reward is limited to once per account and may be withheld or reversed for duplicate, automated, self-referred or fraudulent activity.
Apple-approved refunds or revocations may reverse the related entitlement. Deleting your Closetelle account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel the subscription separately in your Apple Account before deleting the account.
8. Account suspension and deletion
You may delete your account from Closetelle’s settings. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
9. Intellectual property
Closetelle, its software, visual design, branding and non-user content are owned by ASATWO or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that material to you.
10. Consumer guarantees and disclaimers
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Closetelle is otherwise provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free generated output.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASATWO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of Closetelle, loss of opportunity, or reliance on generated output. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the remedies permitted by applicable law. This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and ASATWO submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, without limiting any consumer right to bring a claim in another forum available under mandatory law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Closetelle or the law. We will post the revised Terms, update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continuing to use Closetelle after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them, except where the law requires another form of consent.
